Good but barely a feature length film and you can tell, lots of padding with subplots/mini narratives.

Not bad, drama/people are needed mitt than the "journey"

Very good. I worry about aging though within this m great production design and nice story

There is some predictability and some lack of leniency

Great film. After a week of bleak Oscar winners and nominations this was was hilarious (Anatomy of a Fall, Salt burn and The Zone of Interest, not so much)

Loved the score, script and performances

Companion of The Producers.
Ending is too predictable for the most part

Great Western. Great acting, cinematography, action, story (gripping!). Love it

Top five Western (3:10 original has been my favourite)

Very good drama.
Excellent camera work and cinematography, editing and score

It's as weird as the trailer suggests.
Scenes I've never seen in cinema before

Barry has played the same character a out five times now (the lead/ or supporting) and he's too old for the part

Has My Man Godfrey vibe.

Ending felt cheap

Decent finale, great characters.

They mention Tokugawa and Sekigahara! :)

Great film. I wonder if young people will get the references such as when they receive it bring hot/cold (and these unbearable, in the extremes the innocent victims went through and often died from), as well as the shower in the garden (writing this as if a review in a magazine/article).

Having been to Auschwitz the main thing I mainly tell people that shock me (and causing a young Japanese man to break down and cry) were the rails in the ground to the furnace.

Barbaric in the efficiency of death that I'm appreciative that it's ensuring more are aware of it.

The background low grinding drone throughout the time in the scenes by Auschwitz were stomach churning. The odd noises that popped up were weird.

This film creates a male of fact view in the events in some regard.

Borderline art house, it's a valid entry into the canon of cinema.

Separately, having watched The Anatomy of a Fall the day prior, Sandra was great as always in this.

After sleeping on it my appreciation of it has risen a notch.

Fully on drama. Slow burn and unfortunately left us wanting. After the first few mins there's not much to hold you.

Prosecutor was brilliantly irritating, fast intense monologues which would otherwise have added to the run time.

Highly unlikely to rewatch alas.

Great dialogue and Sandra was worthy of the Oscar nomination

Rewatched tonight in memory of Bernard Shaw. R.I.P.

The action was zoomed in too much.

The 8.5 cannon roll really was a world record.

Jodie was too whingy.

Villains weren't that villainous enough

Decent action and the unicorns were good.

Door key one of the best jokes and they cut the fist joke from the trailer?!

Music too loud, too many big songs to amp the excitement, although the score was decent.

Almost a 7/10 good

... The bizarre Dune score was weird although perhaps also a tie in to Mad Max?

The fake zoom adjustments and camera wobble are annoying.

Enjoyable humorous film with great performances

If I had known the story, even at the beginning of the film that would have helped immensely. As it is, not that interesting

All the dislikes do to the conflict I'd assume as no other critical review given. Bold to make it now though

It's better than Maestro

Decent but not great

Fine story and the different-ish angle of modern films with a Bresson homage

There were brief flourishes but it's a n average film and below average biopic not a great one I felt. Maybe too subdued drama. The noise was fine for me. The deep nasally voice grated a bit.

Yes the family gave their blessing but it's been made/controlled for them not an audience. Rather rambling

Good film. Bill being too monotone Bill. Euan stood out performance wise. Nice tricks but there were a couple of knowledge areas that were off

Brains are like mush. They are only firm when pickled. Chloroform takes best part of 10 mins and why to swap the General with spoiler

Hmmm named after the documentary

Taika Waititi instills something extra, shame the same title, not snappy.

Fassbinder channels "The Killer" character he played

IRL don't do the Heimlich if you can hear them choke as it means they can breathe and it isn't blocked
