If you're a fan of Se7en and Zodiac, you should watch this. If you haven't seen Korean thrillers yet, this is for you as well. That ending was truly, as others have said, haunting. Also, bonus points for the flying kicks :P

Funny and lighthearted while still providing a sense of realism. I enjoyed this :)

I honestly can't remember the last time I cried so hard from a movie, nor felt so much anger and disgust at the characters. Like Adamov10 commented, some parts are really difficult to watch, especially knowing that these are based off actual events.

I really have to give it to the children actors though. Their performances were great even at such young ages. As for Gong Yoo, I'm looking forward to seeing more of his work. All in all, this was a brilliant movie, albeit difficult to watch given the subject matter.

This movie added some scenes which I thought were good as they added more backstory and made me empathise with the characters more. Also liked that the movie addresses some plot holes from the original. Josh Gad and Luke Evans were great in their roles.

Had a few problems with the movie though. I honestly did not like Emma Watson's acting, it felt very underwhelming. Same expressions throughout. Didn't really like Kevin Kline's version of the father either, felt like that was a miscast.

Overall, the movie was entertaining and had a magical feel to it although it did fall short in some areas. 6.5/10 for me
